For context, Resident Evil Village had only reached 500,000 copies sold by its eighth quarter.

Given the remarkable success of Resident Evil 4, fans are eagerly anticipating Capcom's next projects. There is a strong desire among the community for a Resident Evil 5 remake, especially since the remakes of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 were released just over a year apart.
