Remedy Entertainment has announced the release of a substantial Anniversary Update for Alan Wake 2, launching October 22nd concurrently with the game's The Lake House DLC. The update, completely free, significantly enhances accessibility and incorporates numerous quality-of-life improvements based on player feedback.

The Anniversary Update introduces extensive accessibility options, including infinite ammo, one-hit kills, and inverted horizontal axis controls. PS5 players will also benefit from enhanced DualSense functionality, providing haptic feedback for healing items and throwables.
