Dredge's mobile release delayed until February 2025, but a new closed beta is now open for sign-ups!
Fans eagerly awaiting the mobile port of Black Salt Games' Lovecraftian fishing horror, Dredge, will need to wait a bit longer. The release has been pushed back to February 2025. However, to soften the blow, Black Salt Games has opened sign-ups for a new closed beta test.
In Dredge, players become a fisherman in the eerie town of Greater Marrow. Initially, the job is simple: catch and sell fish. But the ocean holds more than just ordinary catches; strange creatures, mysterious beings, and unsettling events threaten to unravel your sanity, especially on a nearby, enigmatic island.
Sign up for the closed beta via this Google Form. Despite the delay, the numerous awards and critical acclaim Dredge has received suggest it's a game worth the wait, especially for those who haven't experienced it yet.

The Challenges of Mobile Adaptation
Having played the PC version, the delay is understandable. Porting such a vast and detailed world to mobile is a significant undertaking. The additional closed beta is a smart move, allowing for valuable player feedback and ensuring a polished mobile experience.
