How to Beat All Monsters in E.R.P.O.
As new monsters are regularly added to E.R.P.O., it's wise to bookmark this page for the latest updates. Below, you'll find detailed strategies for each monster, along with general combat tips:
- Melee Combat: Equip yourself with melee weapons like the Machete or Hammer, available in the shop for 10k to 20k cash. These weapons will spawn in your next level; pick them up with M1 and swing at monsters to inflict damage. Be cautious against ranged attackers like the Huntsman. Employ hit-and-run tactics to minimize damage and carry healing packs for sustained melee engagements.
- Grenades and Mines: Purchase Grenades and Mines from the shop. To use a Grenade, pick it up with M1, uncork it with E, and then throw it or leave it to explode, dealing massive damage to weaker monsters and significantly harming tougher ones. Mines are placed on the ground and detonate when stepped on by a monster.
- Monster Brawl: Strategically use the environment to your advantage. Lure a Huntsman to shoot at another monster by positioning yourself behind it and making noise through walking or voice chat. Similarly, you can pull Reapers into each other during their attack animations to cause mutual damage.
Robe Guide (Ghost)

Screenshot by The EscapistThe Robe, a shadowy figure, will grab and damage you upon contact. To evade it, crouch and hide or keep kiting it around. For a more direct approach, lure it into two Grenades or Mines. Avoid melee combat as Robe inflicts significant damage and can teleport, accelerating towards you if you look at its mask.
Reaper Guide

Screenshot by The EscapistThe Reaper, a raggedy doll with spinning sword arms, can be kited or avoided similarly to the Robe but without the teleportation. It's more susceptible to melee attacks due to its lower damage output. A single grenade combined with a few melee hits can take it down, and explosives will stun it, making it easier to finish off.
Apex Predator Guide (Duck)

Screenshot by The EscapistThese seemingly harmless ducks are non-hostile until provoked by direct contact or damage. Once enraged, they'll relentlessly pursue you, dealing low damage through biting. Your best strategy is to outrun them or use melee weapons for a quick kill. Grenades are an overkill option given their low health.
Huntsman Guide

Screenshot by The EscapistThe Huntsman, a blind marksman, can one-shot you with his gun. He relies on sound, triggered by your voice in chat or fast movement. To evade, crouch and hide under tables. Avoid melee combat due to his auto-aim capability. Instead, strategically place a mine or throw a grenade while crouched to stun him for 6 seconds, allowing you to close in with melee weapons.
