FromSoftware's upcoming title will initially be tested exclusively on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. Registration opens January 10th, with testing slated for February. This excludes a large segment of the fanbase from early access.
Bandai Namco has yet to explain the omission of PC players from this initial testing phase. However, selected console players will enjoy a first look at the game before its official launch.

A notable change in Elden Ring: Nightreign is the removal of the in-game message feature. Director Junya Ishizaki clarified that the approximately forty-minute session length doesn't allow sufficient time for message interaction. He stated, "We disabled the messaging feature because there isn't enough time for sending or reading messages during sessions, which last approximately forty minutes."
