Marvel Rivals Announces Balancing Changes in Season 1

Marvel Rivals Season 1: Dracula, Fantastic Four, and Balance Changes Unveiled

NetEase Games' developer update reveals exciting changes for Marvel Rivals' Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST. The season introduces Dracula as the primary antagonist and welcomes the Fantastic Four to the roster. Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman arrive on day one, with Human Torch and The Thing joining the fray six to seven weeks later.

The Season 1 battle pass, priced at 990 Lattice (approximately $10), offers 10 skins and rewards players with 600 Lattice and 600 Units upon completion. Three new maps and a fresh game mode, "Doom Match," further enhance the gameplay experience.

Significant balance adjustments are also in store. Hela and Hawkeye, previously dominant forces, will receive nerfs to curb their overwhelming power in higher-ranked matches. Conversely, mobility-focused Vanguards like Captain America and Venom will receive buffs to boost their effectiveness.

Further balance tweaks include enhancements for Wolverine and Storm, encouraging more strategic use of these mutants. Cloak and Dagger will also see improvements to broaden their team compatibility. Addressing player feedback, NetEase Games will refine Jeff the Land Shark's ultimate ability, aligning its visual cues with its actual hitbox. While Jeff's ultimate's power has been debated, no significant changes to its potency have been announced.

The developer update remained silent on adjustments to the Seasonal Bonus feature, a point of contention among players. Season 1 promises a wealth of new content and balance improvements, generating considerable anticipation among the Marvel Rivals community.
