How Competitive Rank Resets Work
At the end of each Marvel Rivals season, your Competitive rank drops seven tiers. For example, ending a season at Diamond I means starting the next at Gold II. If you finish in Bronze III, you'll begin the next season at Bronze III (the lowest rank).
When Does the Rank Reset Happen?
The Competitive rank reset occurs at the end of each season. Season 1, starting January 10th (at the time of writing), will mark the first reset.
All Ranks in Marvel Rivals

Competitive mode unlocks at player level 10. You earn points to advance through tiers; 100 points equals one tier.
Here are all the Competitive ranks:
- Bronze (III-I)
- Silver (III-I)
- Gold (III-I)
- Platinum (III-I)
- Diamond (III-I)
- Grandmaster (III-I)
- Eternity
- One Above All (Top 500 Leaderboard)
Even after reaching Grandmaster I, you can continue earning points for Eternity and One Above All. One Above All requires a top 500 leaderboard placement.
How Long Do Seasons Last in Marvel Rivals?
While Season 0 was short, future seasons are expected to last approximately three months. New seasons will introduce content such as new heroes (like the Fantastic Four) and maps, providing ample time to climb the ranks.
