Navigate Obstacles in A Kindling Forest: New Auto-Runner Game!

A Kindling Forest, crafted by the solo developer and high-school teacher Dennis Berndtsson, is an innovative action-adventure game that blends the thrill of a side-scrolling auto-runner with intricate mechanics. Set amidst lush forests, treacherous arrows, and perilous lava flows, this game promises an exhilarating experience.

What’s the Story of A Kindling Forest?

In A Kindling Forest, an ancient demon has unleashed chaos upon the world. In response, forest spirits awaken a skilled archer from the past, entrusting him with a bow to embark on a perilous mission to vanquish the demon. Yet, the journey through A Kindling Forest is anything but straightforward.

You find yourself constantly on the move as the screen relentlessly scrolls, filled with menacing shards. These shards, appearing in various unpredictable shapes and patterns, pose a constant threat. Your options are clear: dodge them or use your arrows to shoot them down.

Your arrows, provided by the forest spirits, are your lifeline. Running out of arrows means game over, so every shot must be meticulously planned and executed.

The game features five increasingly chaotic levels where you’ll navigate through challenges like jumping over spiders, teleporting to mysterious ruins, flying over clouds, and evading lava flows.

Checkpoints serve as crucial lifelines, allowing you to restart and experiment with different strategies after a setback.

A unique feature of A Kindling Forest is its dual-screen functionality on mobile devices. One half of the screen is dedicated to jumping, while the other is for shooting. Timing is critical, and the game includes a slow-motion effect when aiming, giving you just the right amount of time to line up your shots perfectly.

Curious about the gameplay? Check out the trailer of the game right here!

If the trailer piqued your interest, you can grab A Kindling Forest from the Google Play Store for just $0.99 on Android.
