Recursive Destruction Unveiled in Marvel Rivals: Master Key Trigger in Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown

Jan 26,2025 Author: Bella

Marvel Rivals Season 1 unleashes new characters, maps, and modes, including a fresh set of challenges rewarding players with free items, such as a Thor skin. This guide focuses on triggering Recursive Destruction in the Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown map.

What is Recursive Destruction?

The initial "Blood Moon Over the Big Apple" challenge requires triggering Recursive Destruction. This occurs when destroying a Dracula-influenced object, causing it to reappear in its original state. However, not all objects qualify.

To identify eligible objects, utilize Chrono Vision (keyboard "B" or console right D-pad button). Only red-highlighted objects trigger Recursive Destruction.

How to Trigger Recursive Destruction in Midtown

A building that can trigger Recursive Destruction in Marvel Rivals.

This challenge is exclusive to the Quick Match (Midtown) mode. Initially, no red-highlighted objects will be present. Wait for the first checkpoint; two buildings will then appear, capable of triggering Recursive Destruction.

During gameplay, prioritize destroying these buildings. While the reappearance might be missed in the heat of battle, multiple hits should complete the challenge. If unsuccessful, simply replay the match. After completing this, focus on subsequent challenges featuring Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman.

Marvel Rivals is available on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.
