EA's long-running mobile game, The Simpsons: Tapped Out, is ending its run. After a twelve-year run, starting in 2012 on the Apple App Store and 2013 on Google Play, the game will be sunsetting.

In-app purchases are already unavailable. The game will be removed from app stores on October 31st, 2024. Servers will finally shut down on January 24th, 2025. EA expressed gratitude to players in their announcement, highlighting the decade-long partnership with The Simpsons and The Walt Disney Company.
