Chapter 2 introduces the Pirate Coliseum in Madlantis, necessitating ship upgrades and crew recruitment. While crew acquisition is straightforward, the $10,000 ship repair presents a significant hurdle. Fortunately, several methods exist for rapid wealth accumulation. However, these strategies present varying levels of difficulty. Early in the game (mid-Chapter 2), three primary income sources are available: bounty hunting, treasure hunting, and completing jobs in Honolulu.

Treasure chests are scattered throughout Honolulu and various islands requiring raids. This approach is time-consuming and requires venturing outside Honolulu. For faster progress, bounty hunting offers a more direct route.

Honolulu bounties provide the most efficient method. Smaller bounties yield around $2,000, while larger ones can reach $16,000. However, tackling higher-value bounties early in the game is challenging due to Goro's limited combat capabilities.

A balanced approach involves targeting lower-difficulty bounties ($2,000-$6,000). These encounters often involve groups of enemies, making Goro's Sea Dog fighting style ideal for crowd control, followed by Mad Dog for individual boss fights.

Bounties are easily identified on the map by a red handcuff icon. Selecting a bounty reveals its difficulty, reward, and background.

Completing bounties awards several thousand dollars, significantly contributing to the ship upgrade fund. Several bounty hunts will quickly provide the $10,000 needed to advance the story. While combat-intensive, this strategy accelerates campaign progression.

This method ensures rapid funding for ship upgrades in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
