However, mastering the art of joining a coven and delving into witchcraft isn't a walk in the park. To help you on your journey, here's a comprehensive guide to all Forgotten Altar locations in *Diablo 4*.
The Season of Witchcraft introduces an exciting new Questline that lets you delve into the world of Witchcraft Powers. These powers are divided into three major categories: Eldritch, Psyche, and Growth & Decay, each focusing on different aspects of occult magic. To master these abilities, you'll need to gain favor with The Coven by earning Restless Rot through completing missions.
As you progress, you'll have the opportunity to upgrade structures near the Tree of Whispers known as Altars. While most *Diablo 4* players will focus on the main Altars, the elusive Forgotten Altars offer a unique set of Lost Powers that are exceptionally potent. However, locating these Forgotten Altars is no easy feat.
Unlike the main Altars, which have fixed locations, Forgotten Altars appear randomly within dungeons across Sanctuary. | Hex Specialization | Increase the potency of your Hex Effects by X. At Rank 10: Increase the Critical Strike Chance by 10% against enemies afflicted by your Hex Effects. |
| Aura Specialization | The size of your Aura Effects are increased by X. At Rank 10: Increase the Critical Strike Damage by 50% against enemies inside your Aura Effects. |
| Piranhado | When an enemy is afflicted by both a Hex and an Aura Effect, a Piranhado is summoned pulling enemies towards it and dealing X Physical damage over 12 seconds. May occur once every 20 seconds. At Rank 5: Piranhado moves itself towards nearby enemies. |
