Damasi Rules:

• Played on an 8x8 board, each player starts with 16 pieces arranged in two rows, leaving the back row empty.
• Pieces move forward or diagonally one square at a time, capturing by jumping over opponent pieces. Pieces cannot move backward. Reaching the back row promotes a piece to a king.
• Kings can move any number of squares diagonally in any direction, capturing multiple pieces in a single turn. Captured pieces are removed immediately.
• Mandatory captures: If a jump is possible, it must be taken. If multiple jumps are available, the player must choose the sequence that captures the most pieces. Kings and regular pieces are treated equally in captures. If multiple maximizing jump sequences exist, the player can choose freely.
• Game End: The game ends when a player has no legal moves (all pieces captured or blocked). The opponent wins.
• Unique Capture Rule: Unlike other checker variants, because pieces are removed immediately after a jump, it's possible to revisit the same square multiple times during a single capture sequence.
• 180-degree turns are not permitted within a multi-capture sequence.
