Back Alley, a card game reminiscent of bridge and spades, boasts origins in military circles, likely dating back to World War II. The objective? Trick-taking to accumulate points. Players predict their trick count; accuracy, without overestimation, maximizes scoring. Gameplay begins with one card per hand in doubles, two in singles, escalating by one card each round to a maximum of 13, then descending back to the starting number.
