LEGO's foray into video games began nearly 31 years ago with LEGO Fun to Build on the SEGA Pico. Since then, games built around these colorful Danish bricks and their iconic minifigures have blossomed into a genre unto themselves, largely thanks to Traveller's Tales' addictive blend of action-platforming and the countless pop-culture properties they've LEGO-fied.

No LEGO game list is complete without the 1997 PC adventure, LEGO Island. While graphically rudimentary by today's standards, its charm endures. Stop an escaped convict from destroying LEGO Island, brick by brick, exploring a surprisingly open world and diverse character classes. It's a nostalgic trip, though tracking it down might require some effort. Just watch out for the Brickster!
9. LEGO The Lord of the Rings

LEGO The Lord of the Rings cleverly uses audio from the films, resulting in a surprisingly hilarious and effective approach. Witness Boromir's death scene with a banana-fueled twist!
