The highly anticipated Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 series video cards launched today, and unsurprisingly, they're already sold out. Unless you're prepared to pay exorbitant resale prices (think upwards of $6,000 for an RTX 5090 or 5080), your best bet is securing a pre-built gaming PC featuring one of these coveted graphics cards.
While Amazon was a bit slow to the game, Blackwell-equipped gaming PCs are starting to appear. At the time of writing, several CLX-branded gaming PCs are available for pre-order with estimated shipping dates just days away. Placeholder pages have been added for other popular pre-built brands like Cyberpowerpc, iBuypower, and Skytech on Amazon, with the hope that these will become available for pre-order soon.
The initial release of Nvidia's GeForce RTX 50-series graphics cards, specifically the high-end RTX 5090 and RTX 5080, sold out within the first hour of pre-orders. Mid-range RTX 5070 and 5070 Ti cards are expected later in February. Pre-built PCs equipped with these GPUs have also quickly become unavailable.
