Once inside, switch to build mode and navigate to the wolf icon located on the far right. This section will display all the animal types you've unlocked, categorized into dogs, cats, and "other."

Choose the animal you wish to add, and you’ll be taken to an overhead view of the Hideout. Here, you can select an open grid on the map to place your new companion. Remember, animals will roam freely once you exit build mode, so they might not always be in the same spot when you return for some quality time with them.
