NCSoft has announced the end of service (EOS) for its multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game, Battle Crush. This is surprising, given the game never reached a fully polished launch. Following a global test in August 2023 and an early access release in June 2024, the game is shutting down just months later.
Battle Crush EOS Date: November 29th, 2024
The game's in-game shop is already closed. However, players who made purchases between June 27th, 2024, and October 23rd, 2024, are eligible for a refund.
Refunds for Android and Steam players will be processed from December 2nd, 2024, to January 2025. Players should download any desired content by November 28th, 2024, as the game will become inaccessible afterward.
The official Battle Crush website will remain online until May 30th, 2025, for support inquiries. Social media accounts and the Discord server will close on January 31st, 2025.
Unexpected Closure?
The announcement is undoubtedly disappointing for players who invested time and effort into the game. While enjoyable, Battle Crush suffered from gameplay issues; controls felt clunky at times, and the pacing lacked polish. These shortcomings ultimately contributed to its premature closure.
You can still download and play Battle Crush on the Google Play Store before the November 29th shutdown. For more gaming news, check out our upcoming article on the story-driven Autumn Season quests in Black Desert Mobile.
