Locating the Rime Beetle
Following Samin's clue, your search begins in the Iceshard Cliffs. Forget waypoints; keen observation is key. Rime Beetles are identifiable by their characteristic snowballs. Focus your search on snowy areas within Iceshard Cliffs, specifically Areas 2, 7, 8, 11, and 13. Snow tracks can also guide your hunt.
Capturing the Rime Beetle
Capture, not collection, is the goal. Equip your Capture Net (accessible via L1/LB, then Square/X). Aim (L2/LT) at the Rime Beetle until the reticle turns orange, then fire.
