New Character Joins Blue Archive's Main Storyline in Latest Update

Nexon has recently launched a significant update for Blue Archive, furthering the main storyline with the release of Vol. 1 Foreclosure Task Force Chapter 3, Traces of a Dream, Part 2. This update focuses on the Foreclosure Task Force as they tackle new challenges to protect their school from an emerging threat.

The new chapter follows the aftermath of the Kaiser Group's withdrawal. Although the immediate threat is gone, the lingering debts continue to challenge the Foreclosure Task Force. The narrative now explores whether they can overcome this new obstacle and ensure the safety of their school.

A key addition to the game is Serika (Swimsuit), a 3-star Mystic-type student who debuted during the Abydos Resort Restoration Task Force event. Serika excels as a Dealer, capable of attacking multiple enemies within a circular area and inflicting a percentage of her attack damage on each target.

Serika's abilities will be beneficial as players progress through the new storyline. She is joined by other returning students such as Chise, Izuna, Shiroko, Wakamo, Mimori, and Nonomi, all sporting their own swimsuit outfits, adding a touch of summer to the game.

The update also introduces Area 26 missions, available in both Normal and Hard modes. Additionally, the Foreclosure Task Force Midnight Meeting Guide Task, running through December, offers rewards like Abydos Student IDs and Recruitment Tickets. New achievements for both main story tasks and regular missions are also now available.

To round out the update, the mini-event Balancing Schale's Books with the General Student Council allows players to earn Financial Calculators by spending AP on missions and commissions. These calculators can be traded for rewards during the event, which lasts until December 17th.
