In the latest financial report from Thunderful Group, which has already undergone several rounds of layoffs, a notable update about the game Replaced has surfaced. The cyberpunk platformer, developed by Sad Cat, is now slated to reach gamers in 2026, marking yet another delay after multiple postponements.

Originally, Replaced was set to launch in 2022, but the release date was subsequently pushed to 2023, and then to last year. Sad Cat had previously announced a delay to 2025, describing the game's development as a "unique challenge." Despite these setbacks, the studio remains committed to delivering a project of the highest quality, motivated by the significant attention and anticipation from the gaming community.

Replaced was first unveiled to the public in 2021 during Microsoft’s presentation at the now-defunct E3 exhibition. While the developers have not yet commented on the most recent delay, Sad Cat continues to engage with fans by sharing updates on the game's progress. For instance, this summer, they released combat footage and introduced a new mini-game, keeping the excitement alive among eager players.
