2025 is set to be a monumental year for DC Comics fans, with the highly anticipated release of Batman: Hush 2. This sequel to the beloved Hush saga is especially significant as it marks the return of DC's President, Publisher, and Chief Creative Officer, Jim Lee, to the monthly Batman comic scene. The storyline kicks off in March with Batman #158, promising to continue the thrilling narrative that originally captivated readers from 2002 to 2004.

While DC has explored Hush-related narratives over the years, Batman: Hush 2 stands out as it brings back the original creative team. This includes writer Jeph Loeb, artist Jim Lee, inker Scott Williams, colorist Alex Sinclair, and letterer Richard Starkings. The sequel builds upon the recent epilogue featured in the Batman: Hush 20th Anniversary Edition, where Batman uncovers evidence that his childhood friend, Tommy Elliot, survived their last confrontation. This revelation sets the stage for a gripping new mystery, with Hush manipulating Batman's circle of allies and enemies.

Hush 2 will unfold across Batman #158-163, with the first issue, #158, slated for release on March 26. Following this arc, DC plans to relaunch the series with a new #1 issue and a fresh costume, marking a new era for the Dark Knight under the creative direction of writer Matt Fraction and artist Jorge Jimenez.
