Meghan Fitzmartin is handling the adaptation of the audiobook, based on the original comic written by Grant Morrison with art by Frank Quitely. Quitely also contributed an exclusive new illustration for the audiobook's cover, giving fans a fresh visual to accompany the retelling:
All-Star Superman presents a self-contained storyline set in a unique universe where Superman faces his own mortality after absorbing a fatal dose of solar radiation during a mission too close to the sun. The narrative follows Kal-El as he navigates his final days, revealing his secret identity to Lois Lane and embarking on a heroic journey reminiscent of the Twelve Labors of Hercules—culminating in a final confrontation with his greatest foe, Lex Luthor.
