While this news might disappoint fans, it's a more optimistic prediction than previous rumors suggesting a 2027 release. Corden also noted that development is further along than many realize, though he refrained from offering specifics.
The game's June trailer showcased intense zombie shootouts and Mad Max-style vehicular combat in a post-apocalyptic setting. The narrative will unfold years after the initial apocalypse, focusing on human settlements battling the undead.
State of Decay 3 is slated for release on PC and Xbox Series consoles. The last installment in the franchise launched in 2018.
