Delta Force Goes Mobile: Garena Partners with TiMi

Garena's Delta Force: A Global Tactical FPS Launch

Garena is bringing the tactical first-person shooter (FPS), Delta Force, to a global audience. Previously known as Delta Force: Hawk Ops, the game launches with a PC Open Beta on December 5th, 2024, with mobile open beta following in 2025.

Originally developed by NovaLogic, the project was later acquired by Tencent's TiMi Studios (creators of Call of Duty Mobile). Garena is now partnering with TiMi to bring Delta Force to Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Brazil, Central and South America, the Middle East, and North Africa across both PC and mobile platforms in 2025. The game will feature cross-progression between PC and mobile.

Delta Force Game Modes:

The game boasts two main modes:

  • Warfare: Large-scale 32v32 battles across land, sea, and air. Players are divided into four-person squads.
  • Operations: A three-player extraction shooter mode featuring high-stakes missions, loot scavenging, enemy encounters, and a race against the clock to reach extraction points. Players can acquire enemy gear and supplies, contend with bosses and restricted areas, and undertake special missions. A rare item, the MandelBrick, unlocks exclusive skins but reveals the player's location to other players.

A Nod to the Original:

Garena and TiMi's Delta Force features modern, realistic graphics while retaining the tactical gameplay that defined the original 1998 release. Fans of the original game are sure to find much to appreciate.
