"Discover All Side Story Locations in Split Fiction"

While *Split Fiction* offers a straightforward and linear co-op adventure, the game is enriched with numerous opportunities to explore beyond the main storyline through what are known as Side Stories. These optional narratives are not essential to completing the game but are packed with some of the most memorable and engaging moments, such as transforming into pigs or competing in a deadly game show. Completing all these Side Stories also unlocks the coveted Bookworms achievement, making them a must-do for players looking to experience everything *Split Fiction* has to offer.

How to Find All Side Stories in Split Fiction

From Chapters 2 through 5, you can discover a total of 12 Side Stories, with three in each chapter. Here’s how to locate every one of them:

• Legend of the Sandfish – Encountered naturally in Chapter 2 after completing the Rush Hour section. You can't miss it.
• Farmlife – Found in Chapter 2 within the Streets of Neon section. Look for it after hopping over a small barrier and before you reach the elevators on the left.
• Mountain Hike – Located in the Big City Life section of Chapter 2. Once you reach the Port-A-Pottys, have Mio enter one, then use Zoe to throw her to a ledge opposite them with a small ladder. Have Mio drop the ladder to access the Side Story.
• Train Heist – The first Side Story in Chapter 3, found in the Lord Evergreen section. While navigating water with a plank of wood, reach a ledge via wall running with Mio and Zoe.
• Gameshow – In the Walking Sticks of Doom section of Chapter 3, find it on a platform after completing the side-scrolling section with some minor platforming.
• Collapsing Star – The last Side Story in Chapter 3, found in the Halls of Ice section. It's on the main path and impossible to miss.
• Kites – Located at the end of the long tube in the Toxic Tumblers section of Chapter 4.
• Moon Market – In the Test Chamber section of Chapter 4, after opening the door following the crane sequence, it's on a ledge to the left, reachable with some platforming.
• Notebook – The final Side Story in Chapter 4, found in the Soaring Desperados section. After getting the jetpack, hover over to the left-hand side of the room, avoiding the giant wheel.
• Slopes of War – The first Side Story in Chapter 5, located in the Water Temple section. After hatching your dragons, solve the lever puzzle on the left after crossing the golden balls to unlock it.
• Space Escape – Found in the Craft Temple section of Chapter 5. After defeating the dragon, launch Mio to the ledge using her glide and Zoe’s roll, then have Mio drop a column for Zoe to climb.
• Birthday Cake – The last Side Story in *Split Fiction*, located in Chapter 5’s Treasure Temple section. Complete the soul puzzle, and it will be on your left.

Once you've completed all 12 Side Stories, the Bookworms achievement in *Split Fiction* will unlock automatically.
