The Painter’s Regret treasure map is located in Emerald Stair, the second major area you'll explore in *Avowed*. Head to the northeast end of Coastal Farms where you'll find a large house positioned in front of a rock face. Be prepared, as you'll encounter numerous enemies outside this house that you and your party must defeat before entering.

How To Get Into the Painter’s Regret House in Avowed

As seasoned RPG players know, accessing the treasure is rarely straightforward. The front door to the Painter’s Regret house is barred, so you'll need an alternative entry after dealing with the enemies outside.

Navigate around the right side of the house to find a walkway leading to an unbarred back door. Once inside, you'll spot a large painting on an easel, which is the treasure map you seek. Take the map, and you're set to hunt for the treasure in *Avowed*.

With the map in hand, head to the western side of the river southwest of Fior mes Iverno. Your reward for this endeavor is the Painter’s Brush unique trinket, which boosts your critical hit chance by 5%, enhancing your combat effectiveness in the Living Lands.
