One of the most effective energy restoration methods is consuming meals, and the Lightning Bolt stands out as a top choice. While its recipe requires some rare ingredients, this guide provides a comprehensive walkthrough.
Lightning Bolt Recipe:
To craft a Lightning Bolt, you'll need:
- One Stygian Mudskipper
- One Lamprey
- Two Lightning Spice
- One Sweet Ingredient (Agave, Pink/Blue Marshmallows, Vanilla, Sugarcane, or Cocoa Bean)
Acquiring Ingredients:
- Stygian Mudskipper: Found in the Mythopia biome within Storybook Vale. Unlocking Mythopia requires 2,000 Story Magic. Look for golden ripples in the water; this fish is a rare spawn.
- Lamprey: Located in the Everafter biome. Unlocking Everafter also demands 2,000 Story Magic (given to Merida). Similar to the Mudskipper, search for golden ripples and be prepared for multiple attempts.

Lightning Spice: Harvested directly from the ground in the Mythopia biome. You'll find it after obtaining the Stygian Mudskipper. Each plant yields one spice; you need two for the recipe.

Sweet Ingredient: Choose one from the following readily available options: Agave, Pink Marshmallows, Blue Marshmallows, Vanilla, Sugarcane, or Cocoa Bean.
Once you've gathered all five ingredients and a piece of coal (obtained through mining), head to a cooking station. Combine the ingredients in the cooking pot to create your Lightning Bolt.
Lightning Bolt's Value:
The Lightning Bolt meal restores a substantial 5,000 energy points when consumed. Alternatively, it can be sold for a significant 5,038 Star Coins at Goofy's Stall.
