GungHo Entertainment, creators of the crossover card battler Teppen, is developing a retro-style RPG in collaboration with Disney. Disney Pixel RPG, launching later this year, will feature a vast roster of pixel art Disney characters.

Players can recruit and battle with iconic Disney characters across multiple worlds, facing challenges blending battle, action, and rhythm elements. The game allows for character creation and customization, offering an auto-battler experience with manual control options during key moments. The storyline centers on combating strange programs plaguing the pixelated Disney worlds.

A Retro Revival

This isn't GungHo's first large-franchise crossover. Disney's extensive library provides an even larger pool of potential characters than previous collaborations. Pre-registration is open for iOS and Android. Visit the game's official website for more previews, screenshots, and updates.
