Fantasian Neo Dimension: Mastering the Tachyon Medal
Fantasian Neo Dimension plunges players into a breathtaking world alongside Leo and his companions, tasked with thwarting Jas's devastating "Zero" plan. The game's captivating story and innovative gameplay create a truly immersive experience.
The Tachyon Medal is a crucial late-game item, integral to a challenging and extensive side quest. Obtaining it is just the first step; its true power unfolds later. Let's explore how to acquire and utilize this powerful artifact.
Locating the Tachyon Medal
The Tachyon Medal's existence is first hinted at in Shangri-La, and it's the final item you'll need before confronting the final boss. To obtain it, advance through the main storyline until you reach Sanctum, nestled within the God Realm, accessible via the Communication Network. Inside the Mirror of Order, you'll face God's Predator, a formidable but conquerable boss. Be prepared; it frequently summons allies and employs a devastating "Consume" attack, capable of draining 90% of your health. Having Kina readily available for healing is essential. Equipping Petrification Null gear significantly simplifies the battle.
Leo's Fire Samidare +2 proves highly effective against summoned enemies. Consider bringing Cherryl, whose Concentrate and Charge abilities inflict massive damage.
After defeating God's Predator, proceed to the Laboratory through the Balcony. Navigate the debris-strewn area. A chest containing the Tachyon Medal awaits on your right.
Utilizing the Tachyon Medal
Activating the Tachyon Medal requires two prerequisites. First, you must reach the Altar in Shangri-La. Second, complete the demanding Cinderella Tri-Stars side quest. These elusive stars appear in eight locations, the first two encountered during the main story:
- En New District
- Midi Toy Box - Secret Room
- Royal Capital - Main Street
- Frozen Tundra - Center
- Hidden Valley – Duet Path
- Ancient Hill – River
- Nameless Island – Depths
- Shangri-La – Fallen City
Defeat the bosses in the specified order. After the final encounter in Shangri-La, three chests will become accessible beneath the Altar. One holds the Holy Belt, granting All Ailment Null.
Once all chests are opened, a luminous glow will emanate from the door, prompting you to use the Tachyon Medal to rewind time. Possessing the Medal initiates NG+ from this point, carrying over your levels, items, and equipment. While enemies become more challenging, this shouldn't be overly concerning, especially if all side quests were completed beforehand. Using the Tachyon Medal unlocks the Time Reverse Trophy/Achievement, allowing you to embark on a renewed quest to safeguard the Human Realm.
