Flow Free: Shapes is the newest twist on Big Duck Games\' Flow series

Mar 06,2025 Author: Liam

Flow Free: Shapes, the latest addition to Big Duck Games' popular puzzle series, challenges players with a twist on classic pipe puzzles. Instead of standard grids, players navigate flows around various shapes, connecting colored lines without overlaps to complete each level.

The gameplay remains true to the core Flow Free experience: connect matching colored lines to create complete flows. However, the introduction of shaped grids adds a layer of strategic complexity. With over 4,000 free puzzles, players can also test their skills in Time Trial mode or tackle the daily challenges.

While the core mechanics are familiar, the shaped grids provide a refreshing change of pace. The game's only potential drawback is the arguably unnecessary fragmentation of the series into separate titles based on grid variations. However, this doesn't detract from the enjoyable and addictive gameplay.

Flow Free: Shapes is available now on iOS and Android. For those seeking more puzzle game options, check out our list of the top 25 best puzzle games on iOS and Android.
