Evil Genius 2, which hit the market in 2021, garnered "mostly positive" reviews from critics on Metacritic. However, the reception among regular players was less enthusiastic. Despite enhancements in graphics and efforts to address previous shortcomings, the sequel did not meet the expectations set by its predecessor.
