The holiday break is behind us, so let's dive back into some exciting gaming news! While we're all anticipating news on the Nintendo Switch 2, today's update focuses on a different fan favorite. Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio recently unveiled a gameplay presentation for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, showcasing its Hawaiian pirate adventure and revealing key details.
The presentation highlighted extensive ship customization, open-world sea exploration, engaging naval battles, diverse mini-games, and a wealth of explorable locations. Goro Majima will boast two distinct combat styles: a swift, agile approach and a more brutal style utilizing short swords and pirate weaponry.
Players can recruit a unique crew to aid in battles, exploration, and treasure hunts. The game promises hidden islands brimming with discovery and original side quests to uncover.
A significant announcement came at the presentation's close: the "New Game+" mode will be a free post-launch addition via a patch. This is a welcome change from Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, where this mode was initially exclusive to the pricier edition, a decision that drew criticism of SEGA. This is excellent news, and with the game launching in just over a month and a half, the wait won't be too long.
