Rome boasts Italy's largest video game museum! GAMM, the Game Museum, has officially opened its doors to the public in Piazza della Repubblica. The museum is the creation of Marco Accordi Rickards, a writer, journalist, professor, and CEO of Vigamus.
Rickards, a fervent advocate for preserving and celebrating video game history, describes GAMM as an immersive journey blending historical context, technological advancements, and interactive gameplay exploration. GAMM's origins lie in the success of Vigamus, another Roman gaming museum that has attracted over two million visitors since its 2012 launch.
This new museum, spanning 700 square meters across two floors, is divided into three captivating thematic sections. Before exploring the details, take a peek at the museum!
