Genshin Impact is set to release its highly anticipated Version 5.5 update, "Day of the Flame's Return," on March 26th, bringing intense new developments to the Natlan region. This update is not just a narrative expansion but also introduces significant gameplay enhancements.
One of the most exciting additions is the introduction of controller support for Android devices, a feature long-awaited by the community. You can find more details on the supported controllers in this comprehensive guide.
What Does Genshin Impact Version 5.5 Have in Store?
Players will explore the southwestern part of Natlan, encountering a new tribe, a colossal volcano, and new characters. The Great Volcano of Tollan holds ancient secrets and a long-dormant sacred city. As magma stirs beneath, adventurers must unravel the mystery of the "Flamelord's Blessing" and the enigma of the Little One. Along the journey, you'll meet the Collective of Plenty, a tribe dedicated to strength and fitness, turning physical challenges into a cultural cornerstone.
Two new characters will join the playable roster in Version 5.5: Varesa and Iansan. Varesa, a 5-star Electro Catalyst user, uniquely restores Phlogiston after consuming food, providing a novel support role outside of combat. Iansan, a 4-star Electro Polearm wielder and one of Natlan's six heroes, offers a blend of offensive and supportive capabilities. When a teammate triggers a Nightsoul Burst, Iansan gains the Warming Up effect, enabling continuous healing.
The first phase of Version 5.5's Event Wishes will feature Varesa and Iansan alongside Xianyun's rerun, followed by reruns for Xilonen and Venti. Dive into the excitement with the trailer below.
The Bloomflower Trials Are Making a Comeback
In this update, you'll collaborate with Mavuika, Ifa, and other Natlan allies to aid a sick Saurian. Additionally, the "Saurian Treasure Seeker" mini-game challenges players to guide baby Saurians through obstacles to collect treasures. By participating in the event, you can invite Ororon for free.
A new boss, the Lava Dragon Statue, awaits in the volcanic fissures, promising thrilling battles. You can download Genshin Impact from the Google Play Store and immerse yourself in this expansive update upon its release.
