Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium Complete Progression Guide

Mastering Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium: A Comprehensive Progression Guide

Developed by Mica and Sunborn, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium builds upon its popular mobile predecessor. While initially daunting, this guide streamlines your progress.

Table of Contents

  • Rerolling for Optimal Start
  • Prioritizing Story Campaign
  • Strategic Summoning
  • Leveling and Limit Breaking
  • Maximizing Event Missions
  • Leveraging Dispatch Room and Affinity
  • Conquering Boss Fights and Combat Exercises
  • Tackling Hard Mode Campaign Missions

Rerolling for a Strong Foundation

Free-to-play players should strongly consider rerolling to secure a powerful starting lineup. Aim for Suomi (rate-up banner) and either Qiongjiu or Tololo (standard or beginner's banner). This powerful duo significantly boosts early-game progress.

Prioritizing Campaign Missions

Focus on clearing the main story campaign as quickly as possible. Ignore side battles initially; prioritize story missions for Commander level progression. Advance until you hit a Commander level wall, then diversify your activities.

Strategic Summoning Practices

Save Collapse Pieces exclusively for rate-up banners. If you missed Suomi, dedicate all resources to her banner. Otherwise, use standard summon tickets (not Collapse Pieces) on the standard banner to acquire additional SSR characters.

Leveling and Limit Breaking Your Team

Character levels are tied to your Commander level. After each Commander level increase, utilize the Fitting Room to train Dolls and upgrade their weapons. At level 20, farm Stock Bars via Supply Missions to break the level cap. Concentrate on a core team of four, ideally including Suomi, Qiongjiu/Tololo, Sharkry, and Ksenia (replace Ksenia with Tololo if available).

Maximizing Event Mission Rewards

Once you hit level 20, tackle event missions. Complete all Normal missions, then focus on at least one Hard mission daily (three attempts available). Hard missions yield significant event currency, redeemable for summon tickets, Collapse Pieces, SR characters, weapons, and other resources.

Dispatch Room and Affinity System

Utilize the Dormitory's gift system to increase Doll affinity. Higher affinity unlocks Dispatch missions, providing additional idle resources, Wish Coins (for a separate gacha system), and a chance to obtain Perithya. The Dispatch shop also offers summon tickets and valuable items.

Conquering Boss Fights and Combat Exercises

Focus on Boss Fights (a turn-based scoring mode) and Combat Exercises (PvP). For Boss Fights, a team of Qiongjiu, Suomi, Ksenia, and Sharkry is highly effective. In Combat Exercises, set a weak defense to allow others to farm points while targeting easier opponents to maximize your own score. Note that losing in Combat Exercises doesn't penalize you.

Hard Mode and Side Battles

After completing Normal mode campaign missions, tackle Hard mode and side battles for additional Collapse Pieces and summon tickets. While these don't provide Commander experience, they offer valuable resources.

This guide provides a solid foundation for progression in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium. Consult additional resources online for further tips and strategies.
