Hearthstone Reveals StarCraft Mini-Set Details and Release Date

Hearthstone's Heroes of StarCraft Mini-Set: A Massive Expansion Arriving January 21st

Get ready for the biggest Hearthstone Mini-Set yet! Heroes of StarCraft, launching January 21st, boasts a whopping 49 new cards, blending the universes of Hearthstone and StarCraft.

This expansive Mini-Set introduces class-specific and multi-class cards representing the three StarCraft factions: Zerg, Protoss, and Terran. Zerg cards, for example, empower Death Knights, Demon Hunters, Hunters, and Warlocks with swarming Zerglings and powerful Hydralisks. Protoss cards, meanwhile, enhance Druids, Mages, Priests, and Rogues with mana manipulation strategies. Terran cards bring a Starship focus for Paladins, Shamans, and Warriors, introducing new Starship Pieces and mechanics. A single neutral Legendary card, Grunty, rounds out the collection.

The Mini-Set's larger size reflects in its pricing. A complete set costs $20 (or 2500 gold), while individual faction packs (Protoss, Terran, or Zerg) are available for $10 (or 1200 gold). An all-Golden version is also available for $80 (or 12,000 gold).

To celebrate the launch, Hearthstone is hosting two streamed events:

• StarCast (January 23rd, 10 AM PST): Featuring StarCraft legends TrumpSC and Day9 showcasing the new cards.
• HearthCraft (January 24th, 9 AM PST): Hearthstone community creators battle it out, representing each StarCraft faction.
