Devolver Digital's impressive Android game library, featuring titles like GRIS, Reigns: Her Majesty, Downwell, and Reigns: Game of Thrones, is about to get even better. The chilling "reverse-horror" game, Carrion, is making its mobile debut on October 31st.
Initially released on PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One in July 2020, Carrion offers a unique take on the horror genre. Developed by Phobia Game Studio and published by Devolver Digital, the mobile version promises the same terrifying experience.
What Awaits in Carrion Mobile?
Become the nightmare. In Carrion, you control a monstrous, red amorphous blob, wreaking havoc on anyone who crosses its path. This "reverse-horror" game flips the script: you're not the victim, you are the horror.
Trapped within a high-security Relith Science research facility, you, the Monster, must escape. Scientists have experimented on your DNA, but your escape is imminent. Consume scientists, security guards, and anyone else who stands in your way. Crawl through vents, smash doors, and unleash your tentacles to spread fear and destruction.
Progress through the game unlocks upgrades, allowing you to breach barriers and grow in size. See a sneak peek below:

Fans of Metroidvania-style games will appreciate Carrion's blend of exploration and progression. The pixel art style gives the game a surprisingly charming aesthetic despite the gruesome gameplay.
Carrion on mobile offers a free trial. Unlock the full game and DLC with a single in-app purchase. Pre-register on the Google Play Store now, or download it directly on October 31st.
