Navigating the vast world of *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* can feel overwhelming initially. The sheer size of the open world makes traversing it on foot incredibly inefficient. Here's how to acquire a trusty steed.

Getting Your Horse Back in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

You can reclaim your original horse, Pebbles! Travel to Semine in the south and speak with the horse trader. However, he won't simply hand her over. You'll need to either pay him Groschen, persuade him, or intimidate him into relinquishing Pebbles.
During my playthrough, after completing parts of the main questline and working with Radovan, I was able to acquire new clothes that gave me a more noble appearance. This helped me convince the trader to release Pebbles without payment, though it did slightly impact my reputation in Semine. If persuasion fails, you'll have to pay the Groschen.

Alternatively, you can acquire a horse through less… legal means. While wild horses are rare, you'll find them on farms and in stables. Stealing one carries the risk of being caught by the owners.

I recommend visiting Vidlak Pond in the west. A farmhouse belonging to fishermen holds two horses. Simply mount one and ride away.
Afterward, visit the Nomads' Camp east of Vidlak Pond and speak to the horse trainer. He can teach you how to saddle and tame your newly acquired steed, though you'll need to pay for his services. Alternatively, you can forgo this step and ride the horse untamed.
