Hoshimi Miyabi helped Zenless Zone Zero set a new revenue record

HoYoverse's mobile hit, Zenless Zone Zero, continues its impressive market performance. The recent version 1.4 update, titled "And the Starfall Came," propelled the game to a record-breaking $8.6 million in daily mobile player spending – surpassing even its launch-day revenue in July 2024.

AppMagic data reveals Zenless Zone Zero's total mobile revenue has already exceeded $265 million. Update 1.4's success is attributed to the introduction of new characters like Hoshimi Miyabi and Asaba Harumasa, alongside enhanced gameplay mechanics, new areas, and game modes, all encouraging increased player spending.

The free availability of Harumasa as a promotional character, coupled with a focused banner featuring Hoshimi Miyabi, significantly contributed to this revenue surge.

Remarkably, the 1.4 update sustained player engagement far beyond the typical post-update decline. Daily revenue remained above $1 million for over 11 consecutive days and stayed above $500,000 even after two weeks.

While a significant achievement, Zenless Zone Zero's revenue still lags behind HoYoverse's flagship titles, Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail.
