How To Get and Use the Human Grenade in R.E.P.O.

In the chaotic battles of *R.E.P.O.*, upgrading your arsenal is key to survival. While many items offer assistance, the Human Grenade stands out as a particularly potent weapon. This guide will walk you through locating and effectively using this explosive device.

Unlike other items readily available, the Human Grenade is tucked away in the game's Secret Shop. Fortunately, this shop is accessible between rounds, eliminating the need to fight your way through enemies to acquire it.

To reach the Secret Shop, complete the first round and return to the Service Station. Look for a specific ceiling tile near the Health Packs—this is your entry point. However, accessing the shop solo requires a bit more effort. You'll need one of the following items to remove the tile and gain access:

  • Feather Drone
  • Zero gravity Drone
  • Shockwave Mine

While some players report success stacking objects, this method is less reliable. Therefore, acquiring one of the above items is the most efficient approach. Cooperative play simplifies this process; a teammate can simply minimize themselves and be guided in by another player using items for elevation.

Once inside the Secret Shop, the Human Grenade awaits, priced at $2,000. You'll also find the Duct Tape Grenade (which utilizes Human Grenades), providing a powerful alternative.

How to Use the Human Grenade in R.E.P.O.

The Human Grenade is a throwable item with a 10-meter range—significantly shorter than Stun or Shock Grenades. However, its unique feature is its ability to damage both monsters *and* players. Remember to clear the blast radius after throwing one!

While seemingly an upgrade to the standard Grenade, the Human Grenade's effectiveness is debatable. The Duct Tape Grenade, also found in the Secret Shop, often proves more impactful due to its wider area of effect. Choose wisely based on your strategic needs.
