Beloved Bethesda voice actor Wes Johnson, known for his roles in Skyrim, Fallout 3, Starfield, and numerous other titles, has shared a moving message following a near-fatal incident. Discovered "barely alive" in his Atlanta hotel room last week, Johnson spent several days in a coma.
A GoFundMe campaign, which has already raised an impressive $174,653 for his medical expenses and outstanding bills, features a video message from Johnson himself.

"The rumors of my demise were greatly exaggerated," Johnson states in the video. He explains that his wife, Kim, alerted the hotel after he failed to appear at a National Alzheimer's Foundation benefit event he was scheduled to host. Security and EMTs found him with a barely perceptible pulse.
Johnson expresses profound gratitude for the outpouring of support, acknowledging the "lot of love in this world" he hadn't realized existed. He specifically thanks the National Alzheimer's Association for supporting his family, Ted Leonsis (Washington Capitals parent company chairman) for a significant donation, and close friends Bill Glasser and Shari Elliker for organizing the GoFundMe.
He also extends heartfelt thanks to Bethesda, who publicly voiced their support, and to his fans for their donations and well wishes. "I'm not going anywhere," he assures them, promising a return to work after his recovery.
Johnson's extensive voice acting credits encompass a wide range of film, television, and video game roles, with a significant focus on Bethesda games. His memorable performances include Ron Hope in Starfield, Sheogorath and Lucien Lachance in Oblivion, multiple Daedric Princes in Morrowind, Fawkes and Maister Burke in Fallout 3, Hermaeus Mora and Emperor Titus Mede II in Skyrim, and Moe Cronin in Fallout 4.
