TouchArcade's Weekly Update Roundup: Noteworthy Game Updates
Hello everyone! Welcome to another week of noteworthy game updates. This week, Shaun tackles more than one free-to-play matching puzzle game update – but don't worry, there are some exciting titles mixed in, too! (And yes, you'll see Shaun vanquish King Robert again – a highlight for us all!) You can always check for updates yourself on the TouchArcade forums, but this weekly summary covers the highlights you might have missed. Let's dive in!
Peglin (Free) – This week's coveted UMMSotW award goes to Peglin! Version 1.0 introduces Cruciball challenges up to level 20, a new Slime Hive mini-boss battle, and numerous tweaks, bug fixes, and balance adjustments. A solid update for an already great game.
Brawl Stars (Free) – Get ready for Brawl Stars time! SpongeBob SquarePants joins the fray in a new event. Plus, expect the arrival of two new Brawlers – Moe (Mythic) and Kenji (Legendary) – and several new Hypercharges for existing characters. This content rollout will span the next couple of months.
stitch. – More Hoops await in this update to the relaxing stitch puzzle game! This time, the puzzles have a martial arts theme (sort of). More puzzles are always welcome, so update and enjoy!
Genshin Impact (Free) – Genshin Impact: Natlan Launch has arrived! Explore the new Natlan region and meet three new characters: Mualani, Kinich, and Kachina. Expect new weapons, events, stories, and artifacts. This update is larger than usual but follows the established pattern.
Temple Run: Puzzle Adventure – Another matching puzzle game update, this time on Apple Arcade. One hundred new levels and refreshed tournaments await!
Jetpack Joyride 2 – In this Apple Arcade update, Barry Steakfries escapes to the only place untouched by capitalism: SPACE! (A truly epic escape!)
Puyo Puyo Puzzle Pop – Yet another matching puzzle game update, but a classic one! New character episodes for Sig, Carbuncle, and Rafisol are in Adventure Mode. Meena is a new playable character (though lacking her own episode). Seven new music tracks are available in the shop.
Hearthstone (Free) – Battlegrounds Season 8, "Trinkets & Travels," is here! Expect new content similar to previous seasons, including the Trinket Shop (replacing Buddies).
Toon Blast (Free) – Fifty new levels await in a new episode featuring bees and happiness (or both!).
Royal Match (Free) – One hundred new levels and a new jousting arena! King Robert's fate remains uncertain...
