King of Fighters ALLSTAR to End Service in October 2024

Netmarble has announced the unexpected closure of its mobile beat 'em up ARPG, King of Fighters ALLSTAR, on October 30th, 2024. In-app purchases have already been disabled.

The game, which has been running for over six years and featured numerous collaborations with other fighting game franchises, is shutting down. While the official announcement doesn't explicitly state the reason, a developer's note suggests that a contributing factor is the depletion of characters from the King of Fighters franchise suitable for adaptation into the game.
