This bouquet is part of LEGO's Botanical Collection, launched in 2021 as part of their lifestyle rebranding. Capitalizing on the growing adult LEGO fanbase, this collection offers sets designed to seamlessly integrate into home décor.

Building the LEGO Pretty Pink Flower Bouquet

The 749-piece set is divided into six numbered bags, plus a seventh bag containing long stems. No stickers or printed tiles are included, only a printed instruction booklet. LEGO also provides digital instructions, allowing for easy rotation and zoom, making the build more accessible to all skill levels.

Each bag builds a different flower: daisies, cornflowers, eucalyptus, elderflowers, roses, ranunculus, cymbidium orchids, a waterlily dahlia, and a campanula. The instruction booklet includes descriptions of each flower in English, French, and Spanish. For example, the Cymbidium orchid description reads: "Cymbidium orchids are documented in records from Confucius' time, around 500 BCE, making them the oldest known cultivated orchid species."

And the Waterlily Dahlia: "Symbols of elegance and grace, the decorative waterlily dahlia blossoms unfold like a luxurious firework display."

Unlike traditional LEGO builds, this set relies heavily on hinges for petal creation. This requires careful attention to petal orientation and spacing; incorrect placement can lead to frustrating setbacks. The build is almost entirely aesthetic, resulting in a beautiful but delicate final product—perfect for display, not play.

Unlike typical LEGO sets with foundational structures, the Pretty Pink Flower Bouquet is entirely aesthetic. This results in a stunningly beautiful, albeit fragile, final product. This impracticality, however, is part of its charm.

The LEGO Pretty Pink Flower Bouquet (Set #10342) retails for $59.99 and is available at Amazon and the LEGO Store.
