NetEase has announced significant changes for the upcoming second half of Marvel Rivals Season 1 in a blog post dated February 11, 2025. The spotlight is on the addition of two iconic members from the Fantastic Four: Human Torch, classified as a Duelist, and The Thing, categorized as a Vanguard. These new characters will complete the Fantastic Four lineup within the game.

Alongside the new character releases, NetEase is planning a major balance adjustment that promises to "shake up the battlefield during the second half of Season 1." These adjustments will include buffs and nerfs to various superheroes, although the specifics remain undisclosed at this time.

Previously, Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman were introduced in the first half of Season 1, joining the roster as Duelist and Strategist, respectively. The season has also introduced three new maps, special events, and a new game mode called Doom Match, keeping the gameplay fresh and engaging.
