Announced at New York Comic Con, the PC version, developed and optimized by Nixxes Software in collaboration with Insomniac Games, PlayStation, and Marvel Games, promises a top-tier experience. Expect ray tracing, ultrawide monitor support, and extensive graphical customization options. While DualSense features like adaptive triggers and haptic feedback won't be replicated, keyboard and mouse players and ultrawide users will find this version perfectly tailored to their preferences.

“Bringing Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales to a new audience on PC…has been a great experience,” stated Nixxes Community Manager Julian Huijbregts. Insomniac Games' Mike Fitzgerald added that the PC port will offer a polished experience optimized for the platform.

The PC release includes all post-launch content from the PS5 version, boasting twelve new suits (including Symbiote Suit styles), New Game+, Ultimate Levels, enhanced Photo Mode, new time-of-day options, and post-game achievements. The Digital Deluxe Edition will offer even more. However, Insomniac confirms no new story content will be added.

PSN Account Requirement Raises Concerns

A significant drawback is the requirement of a PlayStation Network (PSN) account, mirroring a trend in recent PlayStation PC ports. This excludes players in regions without PSN access, a limitation criticized in previous titles like God of War Ragnarök and Horizon Forbidden West. While this expands Sony's reach, the PSN requirement presents a barrier for a significant portion of potential players.
