How To Become Godzilla in Fortnite
Starting January 17, 2025, you can harness the power of the world's most iconic kaiju. To transform into Godzilla, you'll need a dash of luck. Each game, a rift will appear at a random location on the Battle Royale Island. Your mission? Be the first to find and jump into this rift.
If fortune favors you and you reach the rift first, you'll emerge as Godzilla, ready to unleash chaos. As the mighty monster, you'll have three powerful moves at your disposal: the Roar to pinpoint nearby players, the Mighty Stomp Attack to send them flying, and the devastating Heat Ray for massive damage. However, while you're reveling in your newfound power, remember that the entire lobby will band together to bring you down.

How To Defeat Godzilla in Fortnite
If you're among the 99 players who missed the rift, prepare for an epic battle against Godzilla. Fortunately, Epic Games has provided the beast with weak spots. Targeting these areas will cause Godzilla's Fragments to drop, which you should collect for a boost of 40 health and three dash charges. Mobility is key in this fight, and dashes are your best friend.
For this event, *Fortnite* has unvaulted the Rail Gun, a powerful tool for dealing significant damage quickly. If you can get your hands on one, you're in luck. Higher-rarity weapons are also effective, so make sure to loot thoroughly. Dealing the most damage to Godzilla comes with a sweet reward: the Godzilla Medallion, which grants a dash ability, and the exotic Burst Quad Launcher.
While it's a tough challenge, these rewards are excellent consolation prizes for not becoming Godzilla. Plus, you'll have the bragging rights of defeating the King of the Monsters.
