Get ready for an exciting lineup of games joining the Xbox Game Pass in January 2025! Microsoft's announcement on Xbox Wire precedes their January 23rd Xbox Developer Direct, where several day-one Game Pass titles will be showcased, including Doom: The Dark Ages, South of Midnight, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and a yet-to-be-revealed fourth game.

The January 2025 Wave 2 kicks off with a diverse selection of titles across various platforms:

  • January 21: Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders (Cloud, PC, Xbox Series X|S) – A day-one release for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, offering exhilarating downhill racing with up to eight players in cross-platform multiplayer.

  • January 22: This date sees a significant influx of games:

    • Flock (Console) – A cooperative multiplayer game focusing on the joy of flight and collecting adorable flying creatures. Now available on Game Pass Standard.
