The Golden Moonlight skin is a reward for reaching Gold tier in Competitive mode. Reaching Gold I, II, or III all grant the skin; achieving Gold III is sufficient. Furthermore, subsequent rank decay to Bronze or lower after achieving Gold will not affect eligibility. The game's seasonal rank reset (a seven-tier drop at the end of each season) also doesn't impact your ability to claim the skin; reaching Gold during a season guarantees it, even if you start the next season in Bronze.
Skin Availability
It's crucial to understand that the Golden Moonlight skin isn't instantly awarded upon reaching Gold. The skin is added to your account after the season concludes. Post-season purchase of this skin is improbable, making competitive performance the sole acquisition method.
